"Of course... don't be silly." Mark said and winked, but as he saw I was still uneasy he continued explaining. "Ray... If you have to move somewhere, I'll come with you. We'll make it work, I promise."
I felt so relieved. I knew it was a strange thing to ask, but I had already spent the better part of my first week with Mark worrying about setting myself up for hurt and I didn't want to repeat the same story worrying about losing him.
