"Growing up? Well...," Mark sat down at a table besides me as he started to tell me his story, "As you probably noticed, my father is a very military man. He's worked as an officer for over twenty years and he's raised me to follow in his footsteps."
"He was always very disciplinary, you know... If you don't have discipline, you don't have anything. We actually use military commands at home sometimes and he makes me call him sir when we exercise together. He's always pushing me to my limits and expects the best of me."
"He softened up a lot after mother got two little girls with him. He was really expecting more boys, but after spending time with them he's finally let me pursue a career in sports."
"Enough about me though... how did you grow up? I did notice your father wasn't there yesterday... if you wanna talk about it."
